Classical and quantum normal forms in the theory of chemical reaction
The theory of chemical reactions provides many challenging and
interesting mathematical problems. We will give a general
introduction to the theory of chemical reactions from a mathematical
point of view and then discuss some recent applications of methods
from dynamical systems and microlocal analysis, namely the theory of
normal forms, to chemical reactions.
