The Fourth European Congress of Mathematics (4ECM) will be held June 27 – July 2, 2004 at Aula Magna. The Venue is located on the Frescati Campus of Stockholm University. It is easily reached from central Stockholm, both by public transportation or by car.

The participant fee entitles you to:

Admittance to the Meeting, Congress Bag, Public Transportation Card for five days, Coffee and tea during the Meeting, Lunch voucher on June 28, Entrance to the Exhibition, Welcome Reception at Aula Magna on June 27, Reception at the Stockholm City Hall by invitation of the City of Stockholm and the County Council on June 29.

The accompanying person fee entitles you to:

Due to the Swedish tax legislation, delegates from different countries should pay the delegate fee with or without Swedish VAT. Therefore, please identify your category below and choose the relevant alternative for you in the registration form:

PROCESSING AND PUBLICATION OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal data of participants of the Fourth European Congress of Mathematics, may be required even after the Meeting has been held; for the dispatch of information on future, new conferences within the field in question. We require notification of your consent to this data processing, by your signature on the registration form. This is due to common rules adopted within the EU and Sweden.

PAYMENT
All payments should be made in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and made out to: Stockholm Convention Bureau-4ECM. Please check that the participants name is clearly legible in order to ensure that the payment will be correctly registered. Payment should be submitted together with the registration form, using one of the following means of payment:

1. Banker´s Draft: Forwarded together with your registration form. The bankers draft may be purchased at your bank and made payable to Stockholm Convention Bureau/ESC Nursing. We regret that we are unable to accept personal or company cheques.

CANCELLATION

In case of cancellation, written notification must be sent to the Stockholm Convention Bureau. For cancellations received before May 25, 2004 a cancellation fee of SEK 600 will be charged, cancellations received after May 25, 2004 a cancellation fee corresponding to the entire registration fee will be charged.

As a service to our participants, the Stockholm Convention Bureau (StoCon) will arrange your hotel accommodation at no extra charge. This gives you the possibility of meeting your colleagues, as StoCon together with the Organizing Committee has chosen certain hotels for the participants attending this very specific event.

Your reservation will be confirmed when StoCon has received your registration form together with your hotel deposit. This pre-payment will be deducted from your hotel bill when checking out, on presentation of the voucher you will receive at the registration desk. The remaining amount is to be settled by you directly with the hotel. As only a certain number of hotel rooms has been reserved, StoCon will operate on a "first come-first served" basis with incoming requests. You are therefore advised to register at your earliest convenience. In the event of the preferred hotel being fully subscribed, StoCon reserves the right to book another alternative.

All rates, in SEK, include breakfast buffet, service and a VAT increment of 12%. Taxes or official charges are subject to change without notice.

Inquires/Hotel Cancellation

Any inquiries or special requests for additional information, changes or cancellations of room reservations are to be addressed directly to StoCon. In case of cancellations the deposit will be refunded, except of the cancellation fee of SEK 300, provided that StoCon receives a written cancellation before May 25, 2004. We regret that the hotel deposit cannot be refunded after this date.

Please note: The deadline for hotel reservation is May 25, 2004. StoCon cannot guarantee a hotel room or the preferential rate after this date.
