Abstracts:

Lecture 1: Mobius function and Statistical mechanics

Mobius function is one of the most important functions in number theory which is closely connected with dzeta-function. In our joint paper with Francesco Cellarosi we introduce for Mobius function an analog of the Gibbs distribution and derive new asymptotical properties of the Mobius function.

Lecture 2: Statistics of Gaps in the Sequence na

The gaps in the sequence n1/2 were studied in detail by Elkies and McMullen. I propose a new approach to the main problem which allows to prove the existence of the limiting distribution. There is some hope that this approach can be useful for other a-s.

Lecture 3: Discussion of the Navier-Stokes equations

I shall discuss mostly the Burgers system and some possibilities to construct solutions which develop singularities in finite time.
