Aspects of Membrane Dynamics

The aim of the summer school is to give a comprehensive overview (and to bring together leading experts) of the various aspects of Relativistic Membranes, from the mathematical perspective as extremal 3-manifolds in Minkowski space, to supersymmetric matrix models (and their possible role in an M-theoretic conciliation of quantum mechanics with gravity).
