Titel: The relationship between financial statements and stock returns on the European Markets. (Examensarbete).
Sammanfattning:
This thesis studies the relationship between financial statements and stock returns on the European market. The correlation of financial statements and share returns for European stocks in the FTSE Eurotrack 200 index is studied for different time periods using a linear regression model. The result of a simulation of portfolios using financial statements as input is examined. Four theoretical valuation models are shown to be equivalent and their predictions are compared with the results of the empirical studies. The correlation between shares in similar countries and sectors respectively are also studied.
