Iterated linear recursions and Schubert calculus
We are all comfortable with linear recurrence sequences, and most
geometers have a good idea about Schubert calculus. The object of the
colloquium is to explain how geometry motivates iteration of linear
recurrences relations to several dimensions and to show how the
iterated sequences are closely related to Schubert Calculus.
