The subject of my PhD project is optimization of radiotherapy treatment plans for cancer patients, in particular for intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) . Within this field, the project focuses on optimization towards multiple conflicting goals, aiming to faciliate handling of the conflict between high tumor dose and sparing of healthy tissue. The project was initiated in August 2008 and is hosted jointly between RaySearch Laboratories and the Division of Optimization and Systems Theory at KTH , and is supervised by Professor Anders Forsgren .

In April 2008, I received an MSc in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University, after completing my Master Thesis at Stanford University, California.
