My research project
The project will be done in collaboration with the paper mill AssiDomän
Frövi in Sweden. AssiDomän Frövi AB is producing 300 000
tons of cartonboard per year. The main goal of the project is to model
the moisture content during the drying of the cartonboard, since it is
an important parameter for the quality of the paper.
A preliminary model, implemented in object oriented simulation tool
Dymola includes the moisture content
of the paper during the drying section, but is not included it in the different
layers. The project will consist on implementing the four layers of the
papersheet, using the grey-box modelling and identification.
