• May 2004: Göran Gustafsson Prize, awarded annually to two best young (not older than 35) researchers in natural and engineering sciences (incl. mathematics);
• May 2003: Wallenberg Prize, awarded for achievements in mathematical research, by the Swedish Mathematical Society;
• 2002-current, Senior University Lecturer (roughly the same as U.S. Tenured Associate Professor) at Department of Mathematics, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden;
• 2001/03, Leave from KTH, during which I was a Research Fellow at Bern University, Bern, Switzerland, and a Visiting Associate Professor at University of Washington, Seattle, U.S.A.;
