Göran Sporre was born in Järfälla, Sweden, in 1972. After
receiving a civilingenjörs degree in Engineering Physics from KTH in
1996, he worked at Telia Engineering for one year. In the beginning of 1998,
he returned to KTH, for studies as a PhD student. In February 2003, he successfully
defended his thesis. His main research interest is nonlinear programming,
and in particular interior methods. During the autumn of 2003 he is teaching
introductory undergraduate courses.
