Mikael Fallgren was born in Skellefteå, Sweden, in 1982. He received the M.Sc. Degree in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden, 2006. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at the Division of Optimization and Systems Theory at KTH, where he is working, under the supervision of Professor Anders Forsgren, within the Center for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. His main research interests are network optimization techniques and nonlinear optimization techniques.
