Leonid Faybusovich received his M.Sc. from the Polytechnic Institute, Leningrad in 1977 and his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1991. Since 1991 he has held positions at the University of Notre Dame, Assistant Professor 1991--1994 and Associate Professor since 1994. He spent most of the academic year 1994/1995 at the Division of Optimization and Systems Theory while on sabbatical leave from University of Notre Dame.
