Mattias Nordin was born in Lund, Sweden, in 1967. He received a civilinjenjör degree in Engineering Physics from KTH in 1992. He is presently a PhD student at the Division of Optimization and Systems Theory. His main research interests are robust control, especially QFT and systems with backlash. At the moment he is working on control of systems with backlash. Also new methods for value set computations are being developed.
