Sampled-data control and its applications to signal processing
The recent advances in sampled-data control made it possible to design
digital control systems optimally with intersampling behavior taken
into account. We start with a brief overview of modern sampled-data
control theory, introduce the new notions of transfer operators,
steady-state and frequency response. Some historical background will
also be reviewed. Applications to signal processing will also be
discussed.
