Jordan-algebraic generalization of the projective method
We discuss a problem of finding a feasible point in a convex set
obtained as an intersection of a self-dual homogeneous cone and an
affine subspace. A generalization of the so-called projective method
is discussed. Complexity estimates are obtained. The projective method
was used for similar purposes by Gahinet and Nemirovsky in their LMI
package and has numerous applications in control theory.
