Homework XI is now graded. As I said in the lecture today, next lecture will be a problem session, where we discuss interesting problems that has arised in the homework during the course. Please let me know which problems you are mostly interested in discussing. The oral exams will take place on December 17 and December 18 between 8.30 and 12.00. Let me know which day you prefer so that I can set a schedule.

This week, we will cover sections 3-1 to 3-3, which is a little more than according to the original plan and which will make it easier after the break, when we only have to cover three sections, instead of four.

The first meeting of the course is on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in seminar room 3733 in the Department of mathematics, KTH, Lindstedtsvägen 25, 15.15-17.00. The literature will be the compendium available for download here. I will print copies when I know how many are interested in following the course.
