Introduction

This seminar provides a forum for young researchers working in stochastics to present their research. The three points that determine the triangle are St. Petersburg, Espoo, and Stockholm. We accept participants outside of this triangle too. In addition to the talks given by young researchers there will be two tutorials by senior researchers:

  • Kurt Johansson (Royal Institute of Technology): Recent developments in eigenvalue statistics for random matrices
  • Filip Lindskog (Royal Institute of Technology): Extremes and large deviations in the presence of heavy tails

Organizers

The seminar is supported by The Göran Collert Foundation and The Royal Institute of Technology.
