KTH    Matematik

5B1309, Algebra, grundkurs, 4p,
för F3 läsåret 2006/2007.

The course has a final exam scheduled on March 31. The exam is devided in 3 parts:

Part 1: 9 points
Part 2: 9 points
Part 3: 9 points

The course can be passed with grade 3,4 or 5:

3: 9-14 points, min 3 points in each part.
4: 15-20 points, min 3 points in each part.
5: 18-27 points, min 6 points in each part

There will be three partial exams during the course, corresponding to the the three parts in the final exam. Each partial exam can give a maximum of 9 points in the corresponding part of the exam, i.e

if one gets x points on Exam y then part y in the final exam will not be graded and will be credited automatically x points.

Notice that this means that whoever passes all three exams (i.e. gets at least 3 points in each), has automatically passed the course with the grade according to the table above.
Example: Exam 1(6 points ), Exam 2(4 points), Exam 3(8 points) gives a 4.
