This course is unusual in that it stretches over periods 2 and 3 of 2013/14, i.e. from November 2013 to March 2014.
There is one lecture and one exercise session every week, on varying days, times, and locations. The precise schedule can be found here.
The first lecture of Part I is on Tue Nov 5, 08:15 – 10:00 in D41.
The first lecture of Part II is on Mon Jan 20, 13:15 – 15:00 in L51.
The exam is on Wed Mar 19, 14:00 – 19:00.

Group theory: groups, permutations, symmetry, homomorphisms, group actions, Sylow theorems
Ring theory: rings, ideals, fields, principal ideals and unique factorization, modules, finitely generated modules over PIDs
